Fish`s Bar-B-Que in Tahlequah

Two stars only - one for the curly fries and one for our server. What a disappointment this place was! First good luck getting there over the un maintained driveway, second yes that is a restaurant in that garage with absolutely no sign on the building, third don't expect plates or silverware only Styrofoam and plastic here (OMG) fourth food dry and flavorless for a BBQ place a huge disappointment. ONE option for BBQ sauce and it wasn't even good. You can tell the manager and owner do not care. Icing on the cake was when the "cook" came out of the kitchen and SAT ON THE COUNTER where our food was served from. WOW! Should have known not to even try judging by the sign.

One of my fav hidden little gems in Tahlequah. Delicious BBQ. Good downhome folks. Can't beat it, especially after a long day on the river!

I had the ribs. Very good. Meaty and full of flavor. Good service too. Fast and friendly. Sweet tea as good as mine.

Fish's is the best BBQ you will ever put in your mouth in these parts.

Drove three hours because I heard how good this place was and it was gross.

Great food! Really like the ribs and sliced brisket, full of hickory flavor! The coleslaw needs some work tho. Kinda disappointing. Location might be kinda hard to find for first timers.. and it wouldn't hurt to have some smoother driveway to it. But if you can get thru the location you can enjoy some great BBQ! Take your family, co-workers, friends for a great experience. Support a small business!

Poor service, food was lousy for the money. I could of done better at home.

The brisket was good. Pulled pork just average. Good homemade fries

Horrible dinner. Fresh cut fries greasy and undercooked. Brisket was not fresh. Dried out, fatty, & not even warm. Coleslaw was so sour made me pucker up. I’ve been in food service for 51 years. I think that’s close to the worst dinner I ever had. I left just as hungry as I went in. Yuck!

Hard to find but worth looking for. Great BBQ and service.

This place was SO good, the service was excellent, and nothing was wrong with the food. I would recommend you to try out this place!

Always good food

Great bbq! We got takeaway and went to Tenkiller lake. The service was solid and everyone eating in seemed to be having a good time. The place was full during lunch on a Tuesday. I purchased a bottle of their hot bbq sauce and it is amazing. If you want to sample get the combo dinner which you get brisket (or pork), 2 spareribs, and a hot link with two sides - recommend the beans for sure. It was all good and I thought the ribs were exceptional

Well Well. What a hidden gem. And I do mean hidden and I do mean a Gem. We were on a fall foliage tour and thought we would try it. Couldn't find it at first but then we seen all the cars and trucks parked there. Excellent food at a very affordable price. I would highly recommend this hidden gem . 5 Star

So/so food and pretty much a hole in the wall place. It's a local favorite though. I guess it's what you grow up with ....

Very poor service. She didn't get the order right and would never come back disappoint I heard great things about this place.

Ribs are always spot on. Also had a 5 rack order on short notice and they made it happen. Thanks for having really good bbq

Food use to be plentiful for the price but now getting skimpy with take outs. Curly Q's are too greasy. Driveway really needs some attention!!!

I love Fish's and usually it is amazing. I had the Badwhich which has all their different meats on it and is just a meld of delicious flavors and the curly fries which were unfortunately over cooked and almost burnt. That was totally unexpected. Their curly fries are a treat I look forward to so it was disappointing to receive them nearly burnt. I have been their numerous times and I don't recall that ever happening before. I should have sent them back but I did not have the time to spare. I was in a hurry. Hopefully, that won't happen again.

Great food, great service! Our server was very helpful and nice.

Yummy. Fast service. Drinks only got down about half before she was offering a refill which I appreciate since most of Tahlequah you end up waiting for a refill for 5 minutes after you sucked it all down. Extra appreciated because of this hot heat it was a good refreshing part of our meal. Food was great as always.

Got a to go order and when I got home food was cold and fries where not cooked.

Meat has great flavor. Ribs small. Fries straight or curly are great! Pulled pork sandwich, ribs with hot link a combo we ordered... $15.95 with 2 sides. Booths have been taken out. All table seating. Lots of to go traffic. Horrible road to business. I will return.

Hands down the best BBQ in Tahlequah! I have never had a bad meal there and i have been going for fifteen years.

One of the best BBQ joints in the area. If you want great BBQ and you can find them...then you should head to Tahlequah and go SLOW down there rocky driveway. I promise it will be worth it. Thinly sliced meats that are full of flavor and absolutely perfectly smoked. Don't worry about the thin slices, they give you a plate full!!! Pair that with their handcut curly or regular fries...you can't beat it!! Service is very homey. They really make you feel at home. Be prepared because they do run out of certain things. I had the brisket and bologna and I can tell ya the brisket was superb but the bologna was the best I have ever eaten. Seriously, if you love good BBQ you owe it to yourself to make a trip to Fish's BBQ!!! You won't be sorry!!! Great prices too.

This place doesn't look like a restaurant but it has some amazing food. The smoked ribs are so tasty.

Best brisket in the region. Very hard to find for 1st comers but worth the trouble. They are so good they don't have to advertise.

Food was ok,but didn't have half the things on the menu. And beer sign's everywhere but didn't sell beer,hmm

I got a rib dinner and added bologna, finish I hadn't. The ribs were delicious and the fries were good. It also came with coleslaw and some really good pickles. The bologna tasted basic, nothing special. The atmosphere was friendly. They had iron man 3 playing which was a huge plus. All together I thought it was ok food but prices were not what I was ok with paying for the quality of food that was provided. The service was great though. Our waitress never skipped a beat.

Top notch bbq😁

Waited over 30 min for our food. Finally come out & told us they were out of the pork we had ordered. They don't serve chicken & were also out of brisket. But the waitress were really nice. But we just ended up leaving & went somewhere else.

Been there numerous times when in town and always good. Today eight of us had dinner and delicious as always. Great value for your money and all the meats are good, but I am partial to their beef brisket.
